Background & Experience

Sephra is currently on leave.

Sephra is committed to advancing the interests of unions and their members as an Associate with the firm. 

Sephra articled and practiced at a litigation firm in Ottawa before moving back to her hometown of Vancouver in 2018 and gaining litigation experience in BC at a boutique family law firm.  

She joins Koskie Glavin Gordon after practicing at a union-side labour law firm in Vancouver, where she worked on a range of workplace issues, including the representation of unions in labour arbitrations and labour board matters, and the representation of union members in workers’ compensation matters.

Sephra has advocated for social justice at human rights and non-profit organizations in Zambia, Thailand, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver. In law school, she was Director of the Internship Program for Canadian Lawyers Abroad (now “Level”), Research Network Coordinator for the University of Ottawa Refugee Assistance Project, and a Junior Editor for the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law. She completed legal internships at ECPAT, an organization that works to end child exploitation, and West Coast LEAF.

Sephra was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016 and to the Bar of BC in 2018.
