Heather Kennedy

Background & Experience

Heather Kennedy was raised in Vancouver and comes from a family of union members and supporters.  She received her Bachelor of Arts through the English Honours program at the University of British Columbia.  After completing her first year of law school at Osgoode Hall, Heather returned to the University of British Columbia where she completed her Juris Doctor degree.  She was called to the BC bar in May 2012.

Heather began practicing law at a general litigation firm in Vancouver and then practiced criminal law for six years as an Agent for the Public Prosecution Service of Canada.

Prior to joining our firm as an Associate, Heather worked for the Workers’ Compensation Board (which operates as WorkSafeBC) where she adjudicated internal appeals.

Heather is excited to start a new chapter of her career practicing union side labour law and brings with her more than ten years of experience in civil, criminal, and administrative law.
