Background & Experience

Ryan Matheuszik (he/him) is a lawyer at Koskie Glavin Gordon where he represents Unions in civil litigation matters, labour disputes, human rights issues, and contract and policy interpretation. Ryan has represented Unions in arbitrations and mediations, and has appeared on behalf of Unions before the BC Labour Relations Board and the Canada  Industrial Relations Board.

Prior to joining Koskie Glavin Gordon, Ryan had a broad civil litigation practice at a leading downtown Vancouver law firm. Ryan’s prior practice had a focus on complex litigation including occupier’s liability, products liability, privacy law, and class action litigation. These practice areas frequently brought him into opposition with both corporations and governments. Ryan has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of King’s Bench of Manitoba.

When not advocating for the rights of his clients Ryan enjoys playing pinball, backcountry hiking trips, cooking, and creating craft cocktails. Ryan is fluent in English and conversant in French.
