Quinn Candler

Associate

Background & Experience

Quinn Candler (he/him) represents unions and their members in labour, human rights, and employment standards matters. As a litigator and advocate, Quinn is committed to providing plain-language legal advice through a trauma-informed approach. He has appeared before provincial and superior courts, administrative tribunals, and professional regulatory bodies in BC.

Prior to Koskie Glavin Gordon, Quinn had a broad litigation practice at a leading criminal law firm in Vancouver where he was counsel on complex cases including Indigenous land defence and legal protest, first- and second- degree murder, and criminal contempt.

Quinn has had a passion for civil liberties and social justice since the earliest days of his legal career. During law school, Quinn was co-president of Law Students for Decriminalization and Harm Reduction, completed a practicum at the Indigenous Legal Clinic, and headed several legal clinics on the Downtown East Side.

Quinn was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. When not lawyering, he can be found cooking up a storm for his loved ones, hunting for powder on a ski hill, or curled up with his dog.
