Background & Experience
Iliad practises in the areas of labour, employment, and administrative law. His work focuses on representing union clients at grievance arbitrations, in labour board matters, and at judicial review. He also has expertise representing registered healthcare professionals in regulatory matters, as well as advising employees in relation to employment matters. He is passionate about workers’ rights, and advances their interests through strategic research and advice, negotiations, and oral and written advocacy before courts, tribunals, and committees.
Iliad joined the firm in 2021, after spending six years practising labour, regulatory, and criminal law. Prior to joining Koskie Glavin Gordon, he practiced at a prominent union-side law firm in Toronto, Ontario. He has also served as an investigator at the College of Nurses of Ontario, and as a staff lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario. As a result of this experience, he is particularly adept at navigating corollary issues to workplace incidents, such as regulatory investigations or criminal charges.
