Pro-bono legal services provide those who cannot afford legal counsel access to justice that might otherwise be denied to them. At Koskie Glavin Gordon, although we know that there are more people who need free legal advice than we can help, we are committed to supporting the pro-bono work of our lawyers as part of our involvement in our community.
A number of our lawyers are active in Access Justice/Pro-Bono BC and regularly attend legal clinics. We also do pro bono work through the lawyer referral service run by the Canadian Bar Association and work with the West Coast Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF).
In addition, our affiliated firm, Koskie Minsky, is Pro-bono advisor to the Ontario Federation of Labour Pension Committee and a sponsor of Pro Bono Law Ontario.
